Can I copy my v3 Event Settings into v4?

Here are answers to some frequently asked questions about whether your v3 event or registration data can be imported into v4.

Q: I had a custom registration form in v3. Can I copy those settings into my v4 event?
A:
While you will not be able to copy your v3 registration form into v4, the new registration form has been designed to handle all of the customizations you had in v3 - and more! Many registration customizations in v3 required assistance from FundEasy staff, but in the new version you will have the ability to make these changes yourself - no more waiting for your request to be completed! If you do need help setting up your v4 event you can reach our Customer Support team through chat or email.

Q: Will our previous event information be migrated?
A:
No, but you will continue to have access that information in v3, as well as export any reports you need.

Q: Will we still have access to historical data in v3?
A: Yes! You will still have the ability to log into v3 and view your previous events even if you're using v4. Down the road the v3 platform will be sunsetted (discontinued), but there will be plenty of notice and time to save your information.

Q: Will you migrate our current events or will we have to re-create them?
A:
Events that went live in v3 will need to be finished in v3. You’ll need to create any events that you want to run in v4 from scratch in v4. We can migrate your account information (like your organization name and number) and set you up with user access, but we cannot migrate event setup or registration data of existing or past events.

Q: Can we import last year's Church/School list into this year's event?
A: The list won't be imported from v3 to v4 automatically, but you can generate your Affiliations list in v4 easily by importing a list from a CSV file. After that, it will live on year to year at the account level and can be edited/updated right on the Affiliation Tool page.
