Understanding the Host Manager

The Host Manager is a self-service portal that allows event hosts to invite guests, monitor RSVPs, and build their guest list without requiring assistance from an event administrator.

When a host registers for your event, they automatically receive a special Host Confirmation Email containing a Manage Guest List button. Selecting this button opens the Host Manager.

By giving hosts access to this tool, event coordinators can delegate much of the guest recruitment process while still maintaining visibility into registrations.

What Hosts Can Do

Inside the Host Manager, hosts can:

• Invite guests by email.

• Personalize invitation subject lines and include a personal message.

• Send invitations to multiple guests at once.

• Track invitation activity, including:

  • Invitations sent

  • Pending responses

  • Opened invitations

  • Registered guests

  • Declined invitations

• View everyone who has registered under them in My Guest List.

This allows hosts to actively recruit attendees while coordinators manage the overall event.

How Guest Invitations Work

Hosts send invitations using the Add Guest feature. They simply

1. Enter one or more email addresses.

2. Personalize the invitation (optional).

3. Send the invitations.

The sender information is automatically populated based on the host's account, ensuring invitations are sent on the host's behalf.

Monitoring Guest Recruitment

As guests respond, the Host Manager automatically updates invitation statuses so that hosts can easily identify which guests have registered or declined.

Guests who register with that host are automatically added to My Guest List, allowing hosts to monitor their progress throughout the event.
