Table Hosts and the Form Builder

Before you read this article, we should review this important concept: Not all guests are hosts; but ALL hosts are guests.
Remembering this key concept will help the form builder for hosts make more sense.
Inherited Registration Form
Whenever a host registration is created, it is linked to an associated guest registration. For a quick reminder, here’s where you can go back and look at the set up:

Because that link exists, hosts need to answer all the same questions as regular guests. For example, if guests are asked to select a meal choice, hosts should do so as well. We want to ensure every host enjoys the event just as much as your regular guests—especially since table hosts typically have worked so hard to help make your event a success.
Whenever you are looking at a Table Host’s form builder, you will always be able to see the linked guest registration for easy reference. This is the inherited registration form, and it cannot be changed on this screen (you would need to navigate to the guest form itself to make any changes).

What’s Unique to Table Hosts
You might not need any additional information from your Table Hosts. But maybe you want to ask only your hosts something (such as, what is their shirt size so you can send them some thank you gear after the event!).
This kind of situation calls for “Additional Fields for Host”—and we’ve got all the tools you need to get your form just right!

All the regular preset fields, as well as any custom fields you have already created, will be listed as available fields. You can turn any of those active and required or unrequired.
In addition, you can create an unlimited number of custom questions that will be asked only of your hosts.
Simply use the form builder to add as much additional content as needed. Anything you add as an active field will show in your form preview. None of the host fields will show for regular guests, including guests of the host.
