From the Registration Dashboard, you can set up all of your event’s registration types.

Each of these registration types can use it’s very own registration form. To preview or modify the registration form for any registration type, simply follow the “Edit Registration Form” options you find along the right-hand side of your screen:

Active Fields

Active Fields are the ones that will display on your public event page. You can preview your active fields in the form preview.

Minimum Fields

The FundEasy platform is designed to track guests by name and email address. Therefore, these will always be active and required fields for any event. This also ensures that you will never receive an incomplete registration form from any of your guests, helping you run your event successfully and efficiently.

Required Fields

If you wish, you may choose to make additional active fields required. Simply click on the asterisk, and the field will now be required for any submission on your public event page.

Available Fields

These preset fields are provided for your convenience, but are not active by default. To make an available field active, simply click on the eye icon.

You can also turn off an active field by clicking the eye icon, which will successfully remove the field from your preview and public event page.

Adding a Meal Choice

If you’d like guests to register for a specific meal, use the “Add a meal choice” option to set up the entrées you’ll be serving. In the modal that opens, simply name the delicious options guests can choose from!

Note: You can only have one meal choice question per event. So after you’ve created your meal choice, you’ll see your new form field “Choose your entree” as an available field on all registration types (you’ll still need to manually turn it on for each form before it is active).

The “Add a meal choice” question will be grayed out.

Adding a Custom Question

If you have specific values that you want to collect during the registration flow, the form builder gives you advanced tools to request that information.

Choose from a robust selection of answer types to collect answer formats such as Short Answer, Long Answer, Dropdown Options, Multiple Choice Radio Options, Checkboxes, Date & Time Inputs, and Number Inputs.

You can have as many custom questions as you wish. Each saved question will become an available field, which you can then toggle on and make it required or unrequired.
