Registration Setup: Template Defaults and Additional Registration Types

After you've completed Event Setup, the very next place you’ll want to visit is your Registration Setup.

Event Defaults
To keep things super simple and quick, we’ve assigned default registration types to each event template. For instance, the event in the screenshot above is a table host event, and it already came with a default guest registration and a default table host registration.
For some events, you might not have to do anything at all. We’ve tried to do all the heavy lifting for you so that all you need to do is customize as desired!
If you want to see the settings for any of the default registration types, you can always open the “Edit Settings” modal and adjust the name or description as desired. For example, if I wanted to rename the guest registration to be “VIP Registration.” I could also add a description (we do not create descriptions by default, since those are entirely unique to your event).

Additional Registration Types
You can you can add additional registrations types. So for instance, you might create an additional registration type if most regular guests will be “Guest Registrations” but you also want to offer some elite “VIP Registrations.”
